A Tokyo night scene: Bob Harris, a senescent actor, meets the lovelorn Charlotte at the hotel bar. The two Americans seem to be lost in that completely foreign "world" until they get to know the real Tokyo with a couple of young Japanese people - including karaoke, bizarre locations and extraordinary perspectives.
The magic of "Lost in Translation" enchanted the audience in 2004 and the movie displayed in a remarkably way that only together with locals you will experience foreign cities and cultures authentically.
While traveling Insider Agency’s founders realized that continuously and were inspired by the movie’s protagonists’ rambling through Tokyo's nightlife with their Japanese friends:
How great would it be, if anybody could get in contact with local Insiders via an international community?
Imagine you could meet up with like-minded people all over the world – people with similar interests, who enjoy getting you in their city’s fascination.
Wouldn’t it be great to see foreign cities through the inhabitant's eyes?
Insider Agency is making it happen!
